GLEN BURNIE, Md. - An Anne Arundel County family has lost their home to arson.

Firefighters were called to the townhouse in the 300 block of Valiant Court just before 2:00 a.m. Friday.

A mother and her child were able to make it out of the house safely, however, the house is a total loss.

Lt. Keith Hamilton with the Anne Arundel County Fire Department says that the fire has been ruled an arson, and is asking that anyone with any information please contact the Anne Arundel County Fire Department at 410-222-TIPS.

The fire also damaged two adjacent townhouses.
