HANOVER, Md. (WMAR) - A 32-year-old Frederick man is dead after he fell from a 3-story condo roof at a construction site Tuesday.

Just before 7:00 a.m. police were called to the scene of an industrial accident at a construction site located at 1475 Dorsey Road in Hanover.

The investigation has revealed that Ismael Celestino Lopez-Rojas climbed onto the roof of a three story condo to secure a safety anchor when he lost his footing and fell from the roof.

Lopez-Rojas was declared dead on the scene. There were no signs of foul play.

Officials from the Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Act are now investigating the accident.
