LINTHICUM, Md. (WMAR) - Many Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall flights have been canceled or delayed due to hazardous, foggy conditions in the Baltimore and Washington DC area.

The mixed precipitation at BWI led Southwest Airlines to divert 14 planes to Norfolk International.  Brad Hawkins with Southwest says the company has made arrangements to bus those passengers from Norfolk to Baltimore.

In addition to those 14 flights, 3 Southwest flights bound for Norfolk have been canceled, and 2 flights out of Norfolk have been canceled.

On the East Coast, the weather is causing 2 to 4 hour delays and multiple cancelations.

Before you head to BWI, you may want to check and make sure that your flight has not been canceled. Click here to go to the BWI website.
