ANNAPOLIS - Officials in Annapolis are investigating a mysterious fire at a church.
According to the Annapolis Fire Department, members of the Ashbury United Methodist Church on West Street opened the church on Sunday to discover there was a small fire overnight.
Officials say the fire was small, contained to a small area and was put out before anyone got to the church on Sunday.
What makes this whole thing even stranger, was the church was locked overnight, so they have no idea how the fire may have started, or been put out.
Fire officials ask that anyone with information about the fire to call them at 410-263-7975.
