HANOVER, Md - The new Maryland Live! Casino opened Wednesday night at the Arundel Mills Mall but not all of the customers were happy at the way things were coordinated for opening night.

ABC2 News heard from viewers who were stuck in lines for hours in an effort to get into the new 330,000-square-foot Maryland Live! Casino in Hanover. There were also drivers who found themselves sitting in traffic to get into the casino complex.

ABC2 News placed calls to casino and public relations officials to get information into the number of people who attended the opening, but the information was still unavailable.

"It was totally insane. Traffic horrible, no parking, self or valet," said Carole Sales who sounded off on the WMAR Facebook Fan Page early Thursday morning. "If you were fortunate enough to get a parking spot, their was about a hour wait in line, very unorganized!"

But not everyone who attended was disappointed.

"Great place," said one ABC2 News viewer who responded on Twitter. "Lots of penny slots and bigger than Perryville."

Maryland Live! Casino will be open Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.; and Friday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 a.m
