PASADENA, Md. (WMAR) - Anne Arundel County Police are investigating the deadly crash that killed a 81-year-old woman.
On Sunday, at about 1:15 p.m., police responded to the 7400 block of Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena for reports of a single vehicle crash. Officer arrived on the scene and located and found both Catherine May, 81 Guthrie, and Gloria Guthrie, 49, injured in the crash.
Catherine was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma where she later died of her injuries.
The investigation revealed that the car was traveling east on Fort Smallwood Road when for an unknown reason ran off the road and hit a tree.
Neither speed nor alcohol appears to be factors in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
