PASADENA, Md. (WMAR) - A boy is recovering after he was bitten by a pit bull Wednesday evening.

Anne Arundel County Police say a 9-year-old boy was riding his bike in the 200 block of Armstrong Lane with his mom at about 8:00 p.m.

The child was attacked by the dog and suffered a bite injury to his leg.

Animal Control officers immediately seized the pit bull.
