DEALE, Md. (AP) -
Authorities say a body that washed up on an Anne Arundel County beach may be that of a foreign national who went missing from a container ship.
The U.S. Coast Guard and Maryland Natural Resources Police told The Capital of Annapolis on Monday that the body washed up Thursday on the beach of Broadwater Creek in Deale.
A Natural Resources Police spokesman said the man apparently went missing on Dec. 24 while working aboard the container ship Partagas. The ship is from Malta, online records indicate.
