Eight Anne Arundel County Public Schools will be closing a day early this school year because of construction projects.
Those schools including Annapolis High School, Central and Severn River Middle Schools, Phoenix Academy, and Crofton, Lothian, Mills-Parole, and Point Pleasant Elementary Schools will have their last day on June 13th so they can prepare for summer construction.
All of the county's other schools will close the following day on June 14th unless schools are forced to close for inclement weather again.
The last day of school for graduating seniors is Thursday, May 30th and the last day of work for teachers is Monday, June 17th.
