ANNAPOLIS, Md. -
People in Anne Arundel County will soon be allowed to own a Taser or stun gun.
The county council voted 4 to 3 to legalize the devices.
The councilman who sponsored the bill says it gives people an alternative if they are unable or unwilling to carry a gun.
The bill will become law in 45 days if the County Executive signs it.
