ARNOLD, Md. -

Anne Arundel County health officials say more than 3,000 gallons of sewage have spilled out of a pumping station in Arnold.

The Twin Harbors IV Pumping Station spilled the sewage on Thursday. The sewage did not reach nearby Dividing Creek on the Magothy River.

The Capital of Annapolis reports that public works crews vacuumed up the sewage and spread lime on the ground.
