2 women killed in head-on crash in Deale

DEALE, Md. - Anne Arundel County police say two women were killed and a third was critically injured in a head-on collision in Deale.
The crash occurred around 8 a.m. Saturday. Police say 32-year-old Sara Cassidy of Dundalk ran her car off the side of the road and overcorrected, crossing into the opposite lane. There she struck a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Janice Hollabaugh of Deale.
The front-seat passenger in Hollabaugh's vehicle, 61-year-old Frances Anne Shryock-Hesson of Deale, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. Cassidy also died at the scene, while Hollabaugh was critically injured.
The crash remains under investigation. Police say it's not clear whether speed or alcohol were factors.
