The Romney campaign says President Barack Obama isn't going to have the same advantage among early voters as he did in the 2008 election.
Romney campaign political director Rich Beeson says this time in North Carolina, "Republicans have the lead" in early voting.
The United States Elections Project at George Mason University says in Florida, Republicans also favor Democrats right now.
But Democrats do have a big lead in Iowa, as they did in the past two presidential elections.
