Surely no one at this week's Democratic National Convention will be caught dead talking to an empty chair -- like Clint Eastwood did last week at the Republican convention.
But that hasn't kept comedians and celebrities from suggesting on Twitter ways the Democrats can top Eastwood's act last Thursday. Patton Oswalt cracked: "To restore balance to the universe, Obama must have Tommy Chong onstage at the DNC talking to a steak."
"Star Trek" actor George Takei said he's "drafting a DNC speech to (an) imaginary Romney in an empty factory." And "Saturday Night Live" cast member Seth Myers said the Democrats should have Vice President Joe Biden "go shirtless" in Charlotte, North Carolina.
