Mitt Romney not concerned about very poor

The battle for the republican presidential nomination has now moved to Nevada which holds caucuses on Saturday--but for Mitt Romney who came out strong in Florida this week---it's all about damage control after comments he made on CNN about the country's poor.

Well instead of celebrating his victory in Florida, Romney and his team are in full damage control that's because after making "the morning show rounds"-- to capitalize on his big win in Florida Romney told CNN "I’m not concerned about the very poor.”

Now political analysts say, by making that statement Romney is feeding into the out of touch rich guy stereotype that's constantly being pointed out by competitors and democrats. 

The comments were a "so called" gift to opponents who argue Romney's out of touch --some have even called the remarks the most stunningly stupid of his campaign.

President Obama's campaign manager tweeted quote "so much for we're all in this together.

Romney argued his comment below was taken out of context.

“I'm not concerned about the very poor. We have a safety net there if it needs repair I'll fix it."

Multiple GOP strategists tell CNN they worry because this isn't the first time Romney made a verbal gaff--he also said " I like being able to fire people " in a past speech.
