Washington D.C. - About 1,700 people turned out on Saturday in D.C. to show their support for Public Broadcasting and shows like "Sesame Street" in the Million Muppet March.

People and their puppets marched in response to Mitt Romney's proposal to reduce funding for PBS and the programs it runs.

The colorful parade of people made their way from Lincoln Park to the reflecting pool for a rally.
