BALTIMORE - Daniel Bongino used to protect the President, and now he wants to serve the people as a senator.

This November he'll get his chance when he runs against Senator Ben Cardin .

Bongino won the primary race Tuesday night against Richard Douglas.

It was a big field of Republicans. Ten in all wanted the chance to square off against senator Ben Cardin in November.

Bongino said people are tired of speeches and ready for action.
