Baltimore - Keep the food journal but now you can also log on to Facebook to have a conversation with people on the same diet as you.
Slim Fast has a Facebook page! We checked out the page and found people just starting out, sharing their concerns and their success. There are also before and after photos posted on the fan page.
Weight Watchers is also on Facebook. Go to their page and it starts off with the commercial they are currently running, but keep digging through and you’ll find a meeting finder and a couple thousand pictures and success stories.
Medifast is also on Facebook and this group appears to be pretty engaged. There are a lot of messages saying “first day” followed by several comments of encouragement. And again, some really great before and after photos.
You’ll also find Diet to Go on Facebook. Diet to Go make meals for you so that you can eat “normal” foods but eat the right foods to help you lose. Once again the before and after photos should be enough to keep you motivated, no matter how you are choosing to lose the weight.
NutriSystem is also on Facebook with all the information and contact numbers you need to get started. And once again their site is full of before and after photographs to help you stay motivated.
While we did find before and after photos on Jenny Craig’s Facebook page we also found a wealth of information about the diet and its new spokesperson Carrie Fisher. Jenny Craig has changed and all of that is featured on the site.
The bottom line: “like” your diet choice on Facebook and you’ll immediately have an online support group. If you can’t find your diet on Facebook, start a group and find that support.
