Over all, fewer Americans are getting divorced.
But one particular section of the population is seeing more marriages break up - Baby Boomers.
New numbers from The US Census Bureau show a quarter of people getting divorced in this country are over 50-years-old.
That's more than double the divorce rate among the same age group just 20 years ago.
A lot of them say they aren't the same people they were when they married in their 20's.
So what's the behind the trend?
Experts say part of it is that there is more of an emphasis these days on individual happiness.
Part of it could also be that there is less social pressure to stay married.
Add to that, women are more financially independent than they've been in the past.
