MINNEAPOLIS - A bond between a man and his dog is getting international attention.
John Unger’s shepherd mix Schoep is aging quickly and experiencing more pain as time goes on.
To provide the dog relief each day from arthritis, Unger takes his dog to Lake Superior to simply float, where the buoyancy eases the dog to sleep.
People from around the world have been so moved by this story, some have offered to donate money to help finance the dog’s medication and treatment.
