WOODBRIDGE, Va. (AP) -- Two Woodbridge women have been charged after a 2-year-old girl allegedly wandered away from their in-home day care center during a rain storm.
Prince William County police spokesman Jonathan Perok said the child was found by a neighbor down the street late Monday morning.
The girl did not require medical attention and was released to her parents.
Forty-nine-year-old Edy Ruth Chamul and 31-year-old Liz Margareth Juarez Portillo were arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
They face a September court date.
