Baltimore's Thurgood Marshall Airport may be ranked one of the best airports in the country, but just down I-95 is one of the worst. According to Travel and Leisure, Washington's Dulles International Airport is ranked one of the worst airports in the U.S.
In it's first-ever airport survey, Travel and Leisure asked people to rate the top 22 American airports. The airports were rated based on flight delays; design; amenities; food and drink; check-in and security; service; and transportation and location.
Dulles Airport ranked 7 out of the top 10 worst airports. It ranked low for its location and baggage handling. Survey takers also said there are long lines at check-in and security and the staff isn't overly helpful. Dulles also lost marks on its cleanliness and design.
Here are the top 10 worst airports:
1. New York (LaGuardia)
2. Los Angeles
3. Philadelphia
4. New York (JKF)
5. Newark
6. Chicago O'Hare
7. Washington Dulles
8. Boston
9. Houston
10. Atlanta
