NEW YORK - A new survey says you can expect to pay more for electricity.
About 500 utility executives weighed in for the survey by a consulting and construction firm.
More than 90% said people can expect their monthly power bills to go up.
About half of them said the bills would rise “significantly.”
That means bills going up about 10% or so.
They blame rules requiring the use of more renewable energy and mandating a cut in pollution from coal-fired power plants.
