The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket carrying the Dragon spacecraft launched at 10:10 Friday morning from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.
The rocket is on a mission to resupply the International Space Station.
NASA said that this is the second commercial resupply mission to the International Space Station by Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX).
