AURORA, Colo. - At least 16 people still remain in the hospital following Friday’s shooting rampage at a Colorado movie theater.

Five who are hospitalized remain in pretty bad shape.  They were among the 58 injured.

Not far from the movie theater, twelve crosses honor those who died in the shooting rampage.

Airman Kevin Thao went to mourn his friend, Staff Sergeant Jesse Childress, a 29 year old who was stationed at Buckley Air Force Base.

“When I think of Jesse, I think of a big nerd,” Thao says.  “Someone who was always humorous.  Someone who always made the office brighter.”

Those who went to the memorial stood in silence as they thought about those who died.  From the man who was celebrating his birthday to the youngest victim, a six-year-old who had just learned how to swim.
