WASHINGTON - She spent three days in the hospital this week, but Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton says she plans to return to work next week, according to a spokesman.

Clinton is being treated for a blood clot that was discovered during an exam on Sunday. She was being monitored because of the concussion she suffered last month when she fell.  Doctors are giving her blood thinners to treat the clot and expect her to make a full recovery.
