DEL VALLE, Texas - Yoga is going behind bars in Texas.

Volunteer yoga instructors are teaching prisoners at the Travis County Correctional Complex outside of Fort Worth. There are three classes for men and one of women.

Jail officials tell the Austin American-Statesman the yoga classes are so popular, there's even a waiting list.

Geoff O'Meara is one of the volunteers from Community Yoga. He says yoga can help break cycles of addiction, violence and negative thinking.
