WASHINGTON -
It’s a place where people expect their children to be safe, but DC police are investigating a church daycare center after claims of child sex abuse.
A mother of a child who attends the daycare spoke with our sister station WJLA. She told them she saw a male employee on top of her three-year-old son, with his pants down.
She also said the daycare coordinator didn’t call police for several day.
“I don’t understand, I feel like they were trying to cover it up,” she said. “This has ruined my whole life. I can’t imagine ever sending them to daycare anywhere. ”
The daycare center is closed while police investigate the claims.
