Pass plans to boost movie attendance

You know the cost of going to the movies is high, but a new app is trying to get you back into the theater seats.

It’s called Moviepass, and it allows subscribers to pay a monthly fee and pick up tickets to one move per day for the entire month.

The cost of a monthly membership is $25 to $40, and it works at any theater that accepts credit cards.

You pay on the app and then pick up your tickets at the box office.

Right now it’s only available by invite-only, but the creator does plan to launch it nationally.
