GRAND BLANC, Mich. (AP) - Dirty dancing is a no-no at Michigan's Grand Blanc High School. About half the 1,500 students at the recent homecoming dance left over new rules.

The dancers must be face-to-face. Principal Jennifer Hammond says the dance moves were "getting pretty bad" and they had do to something.

She tells MLive.com students knew about the new rules concerning inappropriate dancing. Sophomore Kelsey Rodriguez says the rules are too strict and don't take into account how kids dance today.
