New research shows Facebook makes us feel good.
A study from the Pew Research Center shows the average Facebook user gets more data then they put out.
The survey showed a small group of "power users" tend to do more tagging, liking and uploading than the rest of us.
The result is that most of us get more emotional support than we give.
However, a study out last month showed Facebook does exactly the opposite for our emotions.
The American Academy of Pediatrics reported the social networking site depresses people.
The logic there is that people tend to post things that put them in a good light, so all we're seeing is the positive side of our "friends" lives.
