WASHINGTON, DC - Frustrations for some air travelers going through security today could erupt after federal screeners will be able 'touch' passengers even more.

Some are calling the new screeners 'x-rated'.

The pat downs will get much more thorough in some cases agents are now allowed to touch body parts that were once off limits.

Anyone can be subjected to the full pat down who requires additional screening.

The Transportation Security Administration defended its position saying pat-downs are designed to address potentially dangerous items, like improvised explosive devices and their components, concealed on the body.
