Customers planing to use Megabus to travel may want to find a different means of transportation after the company put their cancelation and exchange policy into effect.

Megabus.com announced Friday evening that the winter storm is affecting service to and from the following states:

  • New York
  • Massachusetts
  • Rhode Island
  • Connecticut
  • Vermont
  • Delaware
  • Maine
  • Michigan
  • District of Columbia

The bus company issued a release stating:

Customers who are not traveling on the above routes have the opportunity to reschedule their trip at no additional cost if they are booked for travel in Michigan between February 7-8, or in New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont or Maine between February 8-9.

Megabus.com says they will continue to update any changes on their Facebook and Twitter (@megabus) accounts.
