How to keep the peace when your office buys lottery tickets

When lottery jackpots starting getting as high as tonight's Powerball, you'll often see co-workers pulling together their money to buy tickets.  To make sure your colleagues don't turn into enemies, here are some simple tips to keep peace while playing to win.

Photocopy all of the tickets that are purchased.  Write down the names of everyone who put money into the pool.  It's a good idea to have a plan if you win or lose.  If you do win any amount, figure out beforehand how you want to divide up the cash.
