NEWTOWN, Conn. -
There is a lone survivor from one of the classrooms targeted on Friday.
One little girl is alive thanks to her remarkable instincts.
The girl played dead after her classmates had been shot. a local pastor says she came out of the classroom covered in blood.
She told her mom she was okay, but that all of her friends were dead.
The pastor says her parents are thankful she's alive, but know they are the lucky ones.
He said the mom told him, and he thought this was very insightful, that she was suffering from what she felt was survivors guilt because so many of her friends no longer have their children but she has hers.
Twenty-six people in that school died, including 20 children.
The first funerals for the victims are being held Monday.
