George Zimmerman's father, Robert, is speaking out again in the case and Zimmerman has hired another attorney.
Zimmerman's father spoke with a Florida news station about the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
He says his son called 911 about a suspicious person, then Martin reappeared while he was walking back to his SUV when the confrontation began.
Zimmerman's new attorney says he did not shoot martin because he's black.
Meanwhile protestors gathered at the Florida State Capitol to demand justice for Martin.
Many are outraged that Zimmerman has not been charged.
And in Miami-- there was also a march and candlelight vigil calling for an end to racial profiling.
Here is what Zimmerman’s new attorney is saying about the case:
"It's because that 6-foot-3 young man made a terrible decision and a bad judgment when he decided to smack somebody in the face and break their nose, jump on them and smack their head into the ground and in doing that put him in reasonable fear for his safety… That is why Trayvon Martin is dead, not because of racial profiling.”
A new study by the pew research center found more republicans than democrats say there has been too much coverage of martin's death.
