Gas prices rise for the first time since April

CAMARILLO, Calif. (AP) - The average price of a gallon of gasoline has increased by 9.5 cents over the past two weeks. It's the first price rise since April.
 
The Lundberg Survey of fuel prices puts the average price for a gallon of regular nationwide at $3.51.
 
Analyst Trilby Lundberg says even with the increase, the price remains 46 cents below the April 6 peak of $3.97.
 
Nationally, a gallon of mid-grade averages $3.66 and premium $3.78
 

Jackson, Miss., has the nation's lowest price at $3.18, while Long Island, N.Y., had the highest at $3.83.
