Actress Elizabeth Hurley is making a splash with her new line of swimwear for girls, but not in a good way. Parents and child advocates say the bikinis for girls are just too sexy.

The Daily Mail out of the U.K. reports that several charities for children are outraged over the swimwear being sold by Hurley on her website.  One features animal prints with a ruffled skirt and others come in bright colors.

Claude Knight of the charity Kidscape told the Daily Mail she finds the bikinis to be "disturbing" and "inappropriate."  She says the fashion industry needs to stop making clothing for kids that is adult-like.

Mommy bloggers are also expressing their concerns about the bikinis.  Jen M.L., who blogs for the Huffington Post, writes that she is "horrified" over the selection.

A spokesperson for Hurley told the Daily Mail that the swimsuits are selling extremely well and they are seeing repeat customers who find the designs to be adorable.
