DC police ID woman who died after being held at station

WASHINGTON -  

Police in Washington have identified a woman who died after being held at the Third District station.
 
Police say Ukalie Boyd, 42, died Friday night at a local hospital after being transported from the station in Northwest Washington.
 
The Washington Post reports the woman died Friday night at about 8 p.m.
 
Officer Hugh Carew said the department's internal affairs division was investigating the death.
 
The police spokesman would not provide any further details about the circumstances surrounding her death.
