WASHINGTON -
A celebrity chef in Washington says he got three tickets as a result of a new speed camera in the city, and now he's hired a man to hold a sign warning other drivers to slow down.
Geoff Tracy, who owns Cheff Geoff's and several other Washington-area restaurants, says he hired a man to hold a sign warning motorists of the new camera on Foxhall Road. The man was out on Saturday, and Tracy says he's paid for 40 hours of the man's time.
One side of the man's sign tells motorists to slow down because of the new speed camera and warns that fines are $150. The other side advertises Chef Geoff's.
The Foxhall Road camera and eight others were installed by police in November.
