NEW BERLIN, WI - A political argument with a 7th grader caused an 81-year-old bus driver their job.
It started when the 12-year-old and a couple of his friends started chanting "Romney, Romney" from the back of the bus.
The bus driver yelled at the students and called them to the front of the bus.
The student said that it was what the bus driver said next that school officials felt took the argument too far.
" I said that Obama's pro-abortion and she said 'Well maybe your mother should have chose an abortion for you,' said Joey Hartlaub
The school investigated the incident and eventually fired the driver.
The driver worked with the school district for more than 20 years
