MIAMI, Fl - The next time you decide to have a pizza delivered to your home you might be able to choose Burger King instead after a new fast food delivery program is underway in Maryland and the Washington, D.C. area.
Burger King executives say that the Miami, Florida based chain is testing out the home delivery to four places including restaurants in Gaithersburg and Germantown in Maryland.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Burger King officials want to expand the experiment to 16 other stores.
Delivery is only offered to customers with a minimum order of $8 at some restaurants and $10 at others.
The restaurants are tacking on $2 for delivery.
Burger King says it also offers a delivery service in Mexico, Turkey, Brazil, Columbia and Peru.
Several McDonald's restaurants offer delivery services in New York.
