GRANTVILLE, Pa. - Police in Pennsylvania are investigating an accidental shooting of a 12-year-old.
Police say the shooting happened just before 6:00 p.m. in the 200 block of Red Hill Road in Dauphin County.
Two twin brothers were home alone, when they decided to play with two firearms.
A .45 caliber semi automatic pistol and a 357 magnum revolver. While one twin handled the .45 a round discharged and struck the other twin in the upper body.
The twin that was handling the firearm that discharged called 911.
The injured twin was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
Pennsylvania State Troopers were able to make contact with the parents who arrived later.
The investigation is ongoing.
