NEW BERN, N.C. - The Coast Guard has called off its search for the missing captain of the HMS Bounty.

They suspended the search Thursday night, after spending more than three days looking for the 63-year-old.

The HMS Bounty sank off the coast of North Carolina during Hurricane Sandy.

16 people were on board the ship.  The Coast Guard rescued 14 and found the body of a 15 th.  The captain is also presumed dead.
