30 dogs found at Pa. home that hoarded Chihuahuas

A central Pennsylvania man accused earlier this year in one of the state's worst cases of animal hoarding says authorities recently found 30 more dogs at his home.
Thomas Ambrosia tells the Press Enterprise of Bloomsburg (http://bit.ly/U4Muq7) that he was not cited after Monday's search by state dog-law officers.
Instead, Ambrosia says he has 10 days to reduce the number of dogs to 25. Having more than 25 requires a kennel license.
Ambrosia and his brother Albert pleaded guilty in August to animal cruelty after 185 Chihuahuas were seized from their home in Benton.
Most of the dogs found Monday were elderly female Chihuahuas. Thomas Ambrosia says the animals are well cared for.
Dog-law officers with the state Department of Agriculture declined to comment on the visit.
