NEW YORK (AP) - Janell Burley Hofmann's 13-year-old son has a new iPhone, with plenty of strings attached. Eighteen strings to be exact.

The Cape Cod, Massachusetts, mommy blogger had her son Gregory sign a contract so he could get the phone for Christmas.
Hofmann's rules bar hurtful texts, porn and requires Gregory to buy a new phone if he breaks or loses it.

The contract has now gone viral, crashing Hofmann's website and leading to TV appearances for both her and her son.
