QUOTES FROM DISCIPLINARY ACTION DOCUMENTS:

--“The Board found that the physician engaged in immoral and unprofessional conduct in the practice of medicine with respect to three patients, by repeatedly exploiting his position of trust and by inappropriately touching or otherwise making contact of a sexual nature with them.”

--“Dr. Girgis was charged by the Board on July 27, 2009 with committing immoral and unprofessional conduct in the practice of medicine for taking indecent sexual liberties with regard to three female patients by touching and fondling their breasts without medical justification, by kissing two of the patients during purported medical exams without their consent and while rubbing his groin against their bodies, and by putting his finger into one patient’s vagina without any medical justification.”

--“Dr. Girgis used his position as a physician to sexually molest women who relied on him for their medical treatment.  He has repeatedly used the authority and trust granted to him as a physician to subject his patients to demeaning sexual assaults.  Dr. Girgis’ conduct is a disgrace to the medical professional, and he would constitute a danger to his patients if allowed to practice.”
