QUOTES FROM DISCIPLINARY ACTION DOCUMENTS
--“Suspension for 6 months with 3 months stayed; Probation for a period of 2 years beginning 3 months from the date of the order with conditions.”
--“The evidence presented by the Board establishes that the Respondent’s treatment of Patient A was unprofessional and he did not meet standards of care. The Respondent allowed the patient to leave the Clinic after he had partially performed the pregnancy termination procedure. He did not inform the patient of the urgency of her condition or that it required immediate medical attention. Instead of having the patient transferred to a nearby medical facility to determine if her condition was placenta accrete, he allowed Patient A to leave the Clinic.”
--“The Respondent’s unprofessional conduct and violation of the standard of care placed Patient A in a life threatening situation. Ms. Holste’s testimony brought to light the horrific ordeal Patient A experience sometime after they left the Clinic. Her chilling testimony painted a vivid picture of Patient A bleeding excessively and lying slumped over and non-responsive in the gas station bathroom.”
