QUOTES FROM DISCIPLINARY ACTION DOCUMENTS:
--“Suspension is terminated; if Respondent becomes clinically active, Probation for five (5) years with terms and conditions. The Board determined that the physician complied with the conditions of the suspension.”
--“Suspension for 3 months, to begin 3 months after the effective date of the Consent Order. During the 3 month period between the effective date of the Consent Order and the suspension, the physician will wind down his practice and refer his patients to other practitioners. The physician shall not perform: FNAs, biopsies of any type debridements and excisions during the 3-month wind down period. The physician shall pay a monetary fine of $5,000 within 6 months of the effective date of the Consent Order. The Board found that the physician failed to meet the standard of care and failed to maintain adequate medical records in the care and treatment of six of six patients reviewed. The Board determined that the physician grossly overutilized health care services by performing excessive procedures in the absence of medical necessity.”
