The Board found that the physician failed to meet the standards of quality medical care, failed to keep adequate medical records, willfully made or filed a false report or record in the practice of medicine, grossly over-utilized health care services and was guilty of unprofessional conduct in the practice of medicine.”

--“Dr. Midei…made intentional, non-accidental, and non-inadvertent false reports that exaggerated the degree of coronary stenosis and reported non-existent unstable angina in order to justify the placement of a stent, thus making willfully false reports in the practice of medicine.”

--“Dr. Midei’s violations were repeated and serious.  They unnecessarily exposed his patients to the risk of harm.”
